Welcome to the largest district of India. A seasonal salt marshland situated in the heart of the Thar Desert with Gujarat on one side and Pakistan’s Sindh province on the other, the district spans about 7, and is one of the largest salt deserts in the world. ‘Rann’ means desert is the huge grassland of White Sand spread over a distance of on one side and a great Indus valley civilization on other side (falling in Southern Pakistan).

Day 1:- Ahmedabad to Dholavira 370 km

Dholavira is an archaeological site at Khadirbet in Bhachau Taluka of Kutch District. The site contains ruins of an ancient Indus Valley Civilization/Harappan city. It is one of the fifth largest Harappan sites and most prominent archaeological sites in India belonging to the Indus Valley Civilization. It is located on Khadir bet island of Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary in the Great Rann of Kutch.

Day 2:- Dholavira to Bhuj 230 km

Bhuj the Capital of Kutch is an interesting city mostly resurrected after 2001 earthquake. It has many Historic buildings such as Kutch Museum, Aina Mahal and Prag Mahal and sells many kachch handicrafts. Textile mills is the famous tourist attraction around the world.

Day 3:- Bhuj – Kalo Dungar ( Black Hill ) – Dhordo 150 km
Stay :- Camp or Hotel
It’s the highest point in kutch and probably the only place in Kutch where panoramic view of the Great Rann of Kutch is possible. Its famous for 400+ years Dattatray temple and its around 70 km from Dhordo. You can view the fencing lights of India-Pakistan border from the highest point once the sun is set.

Day 4:- Dhordo to Lakhpat 140 km

Lakhpat is a sparsely populated town and sub-district in Kachchh district in the Indian state of Gujarat located at the mouth of Kori Creek. The town is enclosed by 7km long 18th-century fort walls.

Day 5:- Lakhpat – Koteshwar Temple to Mandvi

Mandvi (Gujrat: માંડવી) is a city and a municipality in Kutch district. It was once a major Port city of King Maharao of the Kutch state due to easy facility of foreign transport. The old city was enclosed in the fort wall and remains of the fort wall can still be seen. The city has a four-hundred-year-old ship building industry, which was started by the caste of Kharva that still builds small wooden ships.

Day 6:- Mandvi beach to Little Rann ( Dasada) 330 km

It is a world famous location of white dessert and World’s last refuge for Indian wild ass (Khur). The desserts in monsoon provide water to the elevated bets which gets cultivated and feed to 2100 animals. Moon light beauty of the dessert can only be experienced. Many local and migratory waterbirds like cranes, ducks, pelicans, flamingos and land birds like sandgrouse, francolins and the Indian bustards visit these place during monsoon.

Day 7:- Dasada to Mount Abu 220 km

Mount Abu is a hill station in western India’s Rajasthan state, near the Gujarat border. Set on a high rocky plateau in the Aravalli Range and surrounded by forest, it offers a relatively cool climate and views over the arid plains below. In the center of town, Nakki Lake is a popular spot for boating. Close by are the centuries-old Dilwara Temples, ornately carved from white marble and of great spiritual importance.
